Course Description

USB, Universal Serial Bus, has become the interface-of-choice for connecting peripherals to desktop computers and, increasingly, workstations and servers.  Certified Wireless USB is the new wireless extension to USB and combines the speed and security of wired technology with the convenience and flexibility of wireless technology. Certified Wireless USB supports wireless connectivity utilizing the WiMedia MB-OFDM Ultra-wideband (UWB) radio platform. This course will cover all aspects of the Wireless USB (WUSB) including ensuring secured transactions.

  • Understand the operation of WUSB and protocol differences with wired USB
  • Describe the electrical Data Flow Model for WUSB
  • Describe WUSB transactions
  • Learn the WUSB Phy and Media Access layers

  Who Should Attend?

The course is intended for hardware, software, and validation engineers who will be involved with the design, troubleshooting, and/or validating WUSB based products. In addition, the course is beneficial to systems designers and managers responsible for integration of WUSB based devices.
