Course Length - 5 Days

Course Description

IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) is a marketplace leader in high-end B2C and B2B e-commerce software.

The objective of this course is to make programmers become expert WebSphere Commerce Suite developers. We offer a choice of using either VisualAge for Java (VAJ) or WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) when teaching this class. The course begins with VAJ/WSAD team development best practices. It then builds a strong base in advanced WebSphere programming using JSP, EJB, and Servlet. Students are then introduced to WCS commands and EJB development. The course provides a detailed understanding of the most important subsystems such as Order, User, and Catalog.

After taking this course, an intermediate Java developer will be able to perform WCS programming rapidly and with confidence.
