Oracle AS 10g Forms III: New Features & Web Deployment |

Course Length - 3 Days Objectives The objective of this course is to allow experienced Oracle Forms developers to maximize the performance of their applications in a web environment. Major subject areas to be explored are: • Understanding the differences between client/server and web deployment of online interactive applications. • Understanding and configuring the web deployment environment of Oracle Forms Services. • Development techniques and migration considerations for deploying Oracle Forms applications into a three tiered web architecture. • Extending the user interface with Pluggable Java Components (PJCs). • Migrating older applications using the Forms Migration Assistant. • Use the WebUtil facility for tightly integrating application logic with the client browser machine.
Audience This course is intended for experienced developers knowledgeable in building Oracle Forms application modules. Those developers transitioning from a client/server to a web environment or who wish to exploit all the web deployment features of Oracle Forms will benefit from this course.
