The VisualAge Development course teaches developers how to effectively use the VisualAge tool to develop, test, and manage object-oriented applications. Going through extensive lecture and lab materials, the student will understand the VisualAge structure and framework and how to apply it to their projects. The course also introduces the tools to develop web-based application components such as Servlets, JSPs, and EJBs as well as how to use the VisualAge tools to debug them. Projects today consist of multiple developers working towards a common application. Hence, the course also teaches how to set-up and use VisualAge for a multi-developer environment. Best practices and real life experience is discussed throughout the course.
