This course provides students with comprehensive insight into the operation of the iSCSI internet storage protocol. It includes a detailed look at iSCSI concepts, data structures, and flows. For students who will be doing iSCSI design, implementation, or testing it builds a solid framework for understanding the iSCSI specifications themselves. The course includes overviews of related standards such as iSNS and iSCSI security.

The course is intended for technical personnel involved in development, deployment, and maintenance of iSCSI products and systems including engineers, technical managers, IT managers and staff, and technical sales & support staff.

Familiarity with basic TCP/IP, internet, and SCSI concepts is strongly recommended.
